Level 1: Emergency Medical Technician

The deadline for Summer 2024 applications is May 3rd at 5pm.

There will be various options for EMT cohorts offered for the 2023-2024 academic year:

• 基于社区的定位: This daytime 程序 is specifically designed to enhance options for access in underserved 塔科马社区. Tacoma's East Side is the anticipated community site.
• 晚上/周末课程选择

Although subject to change, it is anticipated that all options will be offered in 面对面的环境. Due to high volume of interest in the EMT 程序, TCC will select applicants for specialty cohorts based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, application completion, location, academic preparation, etc. 所有 others will be randomly selected via a lottery-based system.

Thank you for your interest in our 程序! 与 护理人员证书, you'll build on your EMT training. As a paramedic, you may be employed by the fire department, hospital, or private ambulance companies. 你要做我的眼睛，耳朵，还有 hands of an emergency physician while in the field. 该计划的目的是准备 graduates to meet Washington state certification requirements and to take the National 注册急救-护理人员检查. Upon successful completion of the certificate 程序, students have the option to 追求一个 Associate in Applied Science Degree.

Each year, the application will open mid-January and close on March 31^st 在晚上11:59.
